The Development and Quality Unit reports to the Agency for Development and Quality at the college and is headed by Dr. Naela Saleh Al-Huson. The unit aims to elevate the quality of the college's programs and strives for continuous improvement by monitoring the implementation of quality standards and accreditation requirements.
The unit specializes in supporting student's rights on the basis of the rules and regulations of the university.
Developing a culture of justice and fairness among students, providing them with the necessary advice, and enlightening them of their university rights.

Unit duties:
Universities have three functions: education, scientific research, and community service. The Community Relations Unit was formed in the College of Computer Science and Information with the goal of building good and successful relationships with all recipients of community service; relying on the Kingdom's 2030 vision for social involvement in Saudi universities, to assist the state's efforts, and to accept societal responsibility for the demands and requirements of society.
The new Master of Science in Information Systems program has been designed to keep up with the latest developments in the field of information systems.
The program offers three tracks that are the most important, recent, and influential on national and international requirements. The available tracks are: Data Science, Digital Transformation, Information Systems Engineering and Enterprises. The program gives the student the choice of the academic track with or without a research thesis, so that it serves many of the educational and future goals of the students' practical life.

The Information Technology (IT) follows closely the guidelines of the Association of Computing Machinery – the governing body that influences computer science education around the world – as defined in its 2017 publication “Curriculum Guidelines for Baccalaureate Degree Programs in Information Technology”. This in turn will enable graduates to achieve the student outcomes mentioned in the ABET CAC accreditation criteria and will ensure that our renewed program meets both the general and the IT specific curriculum criteria.
