About the Student Activities Committees

The Student Activities Committees at the College of Computer and Information Sciences at King Saud University are an important forum and portal that stimulates and supports the development and development of student talents, and a contributing factor to encouraging innovation and creativity among students through an advisory work system, financial resources and human forces that support the implementation and realization of visions and ideas, a tangible reality for everyone. The committees are a constructive center and an important cultural and social outreach that allows students to communicate with the pioneers and supporters of these activities at the university level and outside it, as the committees are a main source for displaying and highlighting the product of ideas and aspirations to be a building block that enriches society and an acquisition that we are proud of

List of Student Committee Points List at the College of Computer and Information Sciences

In light of the crowding of programs to be established within the activities of the committees and in light of the increasing opportunities and privileges granted to some distinguished people and to unify the mechanism for granting those advantages and opportunities allocated and allocated, a unified mechanism is adopted to be the just deciding on each grant, opportunity or reward, internal or external, and based on the majority of points. It is decided and decided upon, and the following are the details and mechanism for awarding points

General Provisions

  • The General Secretariat of the Committees supervises the program (My Activity ... My Points), which in turn approves the points awarded to members according to what is mentioned in these regulations
  • The General Secretariat has the right to amend these regulations by deleting, adding or amending, provided that the director of the committees approves and that all members of the student committees benefit from them, in addition to the director of the committees who has the right to amend these regulations by adding or deleting and other means of amendment by notifying the general secretariat and all committee members within 48 Maximum one hour of adjustment process
  • In the event that there is a deletion of one of the items of this bylaw with a member benefiting from the points of the item to be deleted, the item will be deleted while the points remain for the beneficiary member, with retroactive effect
  • Points are calculated manually and electronically (if possible), with the necessity to document the reasons that caused the award of any points and attach the documentation to each member's file
  • The program is comprehensive for all employees of the committees, headed by the director of the student committees and all the sub-committees of the committees, without exception
  • No points are assigned to any member if 45 days have passed since the occurrence of the incident based upon when requesting any point, even if the incident based on it is due
  • Each two points is equivalent to an hour registered in the semester or annual certificate approved by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Deanship of the College of Computer and Information Sciences
  • The committee director has the right to approve the points deduction for all members, subject to the approval and approval of the evaluation and follow-up committee for the discount decision
  • The head of the evaluation and follow-up committee has the right to approve the deduction of the points of the committee members only with the approval and approval of the director of the committees
  • The maximum limit for a single discount process does not exceed 20% of the total points owned by the member at the moment of discount
  • Points deduction is not approved more than twice during one week, that is, during five consecutive school days
    
  • The director of the committees has the right to approve the granting of additional points to the leaders of the sub-committees and all members of the committees with the importance of determining the reasons and the approval of the evaluation and follow-up committee
  • When semi-complete support is found for one of the committees' programs, item (7) is not counted unless the partial support exceeds 50% of the total cost of the program
