Development and Quality Unit

 

The Development and Quality Unit is affiliated with the Agency for Development and Quality and is headed by Her Excellency Dr. Nailah Saleh AlHassoun. It seeks to raise the level of quality of the college’s programs and looks forward to continuous improvement by following up on the application of quality standards and accreditation requirements.

 

Our Vision:

To be a pioneering unit in developing the educational process and enhancing quality in the College of Computer and Information Sciences.

 

Our Message:

Raising the level of performance in the various college units to achieve academic leadership at the local and international levels, following up on the implementation of development and strategic plans, spreading the culture of quality and applying its standards through active participation and providing support to the administrative and academic units at the College of Computer and Information Sciences.

Our Objectives:

1. To spread the culture of quality in the college through holding and organizing conferences, seminars, lectures, workshops, etc.

2. Working to implement and follow up on the evaluation and academic accreditation of all study programs at the college.

3. Contributing to the development and improvement of the college’s academic and administrative work in accordance with local and international standards.

4. Identify possible areas of improvement and propose the projects necessary to achieve them.

5. Continuously collecting data and information about quality development activities in the college.

6. Developing the initiative spirit among college employees to submit proposals that enable improving the college’s performance.

 

Primary tasks and activities:

1. Consolidating the concept of quality and spreading its culture at the college level.

2. Following up on the implementation of the college’s quality program

3. Following up on updating the college’s development and strategic plans

4. Identifying the difficulties and problems facing the development and quality programs and proposing solutions for them.

5. Preparing college readiness reports and submitting the necessary reports to the follow-up department.

6. Following up with academic departments regarding the work of national academic accreditation for undergraduate and graduate programs.

7. Following up with academic departments regarding maintaining ABET international academic accreditation.

8. Providing logistical support for local and international academic accreditation for the college programs.

9. Contributing to preparing reports and collecting data requested from various university agencies.
