Technology and Electronic Transactions Unit

The Technology and Electronic Transactions Unit was established in the college to follow up on the technical readiness of the college in order to achieve excellence in the educational process. The unit also aims to encourage faculty members and students in the college and support them in adapting communication and information technologies to improve the level of educational service provided by the college to female students

 

Vision:

For the College of Computer and Information Sciences to be a global leader in the application of technically advanced educational practices that ensure excellence in the educational process.

 

 

Mission:

Promoting the academic excellence of the college by activating a facilitated mechanism for reporting technical faults and by ensuring that the faculty is technically prepared in order to serve the educational process, as well as supporting and assisting the faculty staff in adapting communication and information technologies to improve the level of educational service.

 

 

Tasks of the Technology, Electronic Transactions and Communications Unit

 

  • Preparing comprehensive weekly reports about the electronic equipment in classrooms and labs, and submitting them to the college
  • Raising equipments’ technical faults to technical support and following up on their repair
  • Coordinating to reserve an alternative room according to the needs of the educational process
