Alumni Unit Vision Etc

Vision:

          To facilitate the continued interaction of Alumni with the College in the interest of sustaining the College’s ability to develop and maintain a commitment to excellence via continual coordination with the institutions of the public and private sectors .

Mission:

          Strengthening bonds between the college and its graduates in order to serve the interest of both, the graduates by offering them services that stimulate interaction through direction, guidance and training, and the College's academic & research programs by utilizing the graduates technical expertise and experience.

Objectives:

1 - Build a relationship with the graduates to take advantage of their expertise in the development of the academic, research and training plans for the College  in accordance with the needs of the labor market.
2- Conduct exploratory studies regarding the employment percentage of the college's graduates and provide the results to decision makers.
3-  Keep contact with the college's graduated through a comprehensive database.
4- Encourage innovation, creativity and excellence among the college graduates, in the areas of practice, research and community service.
5 – Build a communication bridge with various organizations to provide advisory services for the employment  of our new graduates.
6- Develop the skills of the college's graduates through training programs that would open more employment opportunities.
7 – Build cooperation and agreements between the College alumni unit and the alumni units in other colleges and universities, to support the interdisciplinary cooperation.

Tasks:

1 – Organize an annual alumni reunion, so that all graduates are invited to listen to their comments and honor graduates  with outstanding achievements and invite them to share their experiences with others.
2- Organize workshops on job search skills (writing  CVs,  personal interviews, fill out employment forms, and other skills).
3- Link the college with employers by announcing the names of students expected to graduate at the end of each semester and introduce them to employers
4- Keep the Alumni database up-to-date.
5- Initialize and maintain interest groups of different specialties, which will link the graduates with the research effort in the college.
6- Prepare comprehensive reports for the development and quality unit, that includes statistical surveys for the College graduates.
7 – Prepare the yearly guide book for the graduates, and issue alumni membership cards.
8- Provide support in organizing the annual Career Day.
